At Sisi Alero, our mission is to support and empower women and young girls in managing their menstrual health and mental well-being. We accomplish this by providing education and information through various means, including live talks with professionals and individuals who have experienced these challenges, as well as blogging on relevant topics and hosting seminars and events.  Having lived with some of these womb health issues myself, I understand the concerns and difficulties many face. Unfortunately, there is a lot of misinformation circulating daily, so we are committed to ensuring that we provide accurate information at all times.

Our vision is to create a world where every girl is fully knowledgeable about her body, menstrual cycle, and health. It’s unacceptable that so many young girls lack basic understanding about their periods, often due to a lack of open conversation, especially with their mothers.  A recent census-wide survey in 2024 revealed that 30% of UK teens were unaware of what a period was before experiencing their first one, and a staggering 57% rated their knowledge of the menstrual cycle as poor. We are committed to changing this narrative and empowering every girl with the essential information they need to thrive.
